This annual family-friendly fireworks show features music by 6 Miles to Mixon, Armed Forces tribute, Illusionist Joe Schmidt, bounce houses, face art, and more. PHBC will have hotdogs, water, watermelon, & chips FREE to the community as long as they last. Available for purchase snow cones, sodas, chicken sandwiches and more.
This is a free event.

July 4
Lindsay Park 4th of July Celebration
The City of Tyler will host the annual Fourth of July fireworks celebration at Lindsey Park, located at 12557 Spur 364 W, on Wednesday, July 4. The fun kicks off at 4 p.m. and the fireworks show will begin after dark (around 9:15 p.m.). The park gate, located off of Spur 364, will officially open at 2 p.m. and admission is free.
Attendees are asked to arrive early for prime parking. Carpooling is highly recommended to help alleviate traffic congestion. Parking will be on a first come, first serve basis.
The Kids’ Zone and concessions will begin at 4 p.m. and continues until 10 p.m. Live entertainment will include the Groove Slaves and Faber and Friends.
To prepare for this event, Lindsey Park will be closed to the public on July 4 until 2 p.m. Alcohol and private fireworks are prohibited in the park.

Annual Independence Day Concert

You’re invited to include patriotic music as part of your celebration on July 4th. The Tyler Civic Chorale and the Fine Arts Series at First Presbyterian Church of Tyler present their Patriotic Concert, open to the public at no charge, in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church of Tyler. The concert begins at 4 p.m., and doors will open at 3:30 p.m.
Fireworks and Freedom Celebration
The City of Longview will host the biggest fireworks show in East Texas!! Join us for all the fun! Gates open at 11 a.m. and the fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. with patriotic music on KYKX 105.7. Let us know that you’ll be there for the fun and check-in to the event on Facebook.
Free concert featuring Sammy Kershaw and Ray Johnston Band
The full-day festival includes amusement rides (Kona Ice will be giving away one FREE Kona Cone to anyone with an armband!), numerous children’s activities, a variety of entertainment, including FREE outdoor concerts, food and beverages, vendors (with door prize giveaways!) in the Longview Exhibit Building, a Patriotic Pup Fashion Show, Tutus and Troops Children’s Style Show, Petting Zoo, Weenie Dog Races, Car Show, Motorcycle Parade, and much more! The festival opens at 11:00 a.m. and the day’s activities will be topped off with a SPECTACULAR firework display that starts at 9:30 p.m. Festival admission, parking and the firework show are free to the public; however, prices vary for individual activities. No BYOB or outside coolers allowed.
