Gary Patmor has one of the most interesting life stories to tell, and despite being in hospice care, he still living!

He’s a retired aerospace engineer that has logged more than 1,300 jumps out of civilian, military, antique and experimental aircrafts. In 1962, Patmor sky-surfed with a 4-foot boogie board and has been towed behind an airplane. What?? And get this…he survived 38 MALFUNCTIONING PARACHUTES and he even doubled for Steve McQueen on film. A social worker for the hospice facility caring for Patmor said, “He was actually also the first person to mount a Sony camera and jump out of a plane.”

So when he told staff there he wanted one last jump, they made it happen. And his wife of 30 years, Sheri, was there with him. It was Patmor’s 1,338th career jump in the place where his very first jump happened.
